Breakfast for Mom

Posted on Friday at 6:32

It’s almost Mother’s Day! How will you be showing your mom you love her this Sunday? Making her breakfast in the morning is one great way to serve her. Here is one easy recipe for delicious croissants. We want to hear about your unique ways you celebrate your mom this year…

Chocolate Croissant

Ingredients:

  • 1 8-count tube refrigerate crescent rolls
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chopped semisweet chocolate

Instructions:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees Ferenheit.
  • Unroll the dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place about 10 chocolate chips on the bottom third of each triangle and roll the dough up around the chocolate.
  • Transfer the croissants to a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper, if desired, for easier cleanup). Bake until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

The Bird and the Man

Posted on Saturday at 12:20

One cold, snowy night there was a blizzard. A man was in his house sitting drinking some warm tea by the fire when all of a sudden the man hears a little noise. He got up and went to the window to see what was there, he saw a little bird banging on the window trying to get in,so the man opened the window to let the bird in, but the bird got scared and flew away. The man was confused he was trying to save the birds life. He thought if only I was a bird I could lead the bird in without scaring it away. That’s just what God thought before he sent his begotten son to save us from sin, instead of sending a huge king he sent his son as a baby so he can live like us. If he sent a huge powerful king everybody would be scared of him and run from God. So remember God loves you so much that he sent his only son to save us like it says in john 3:16.
